i keep bursting into tears for literally no reason. i hate it. i can’t even control myself at school anymore. i almost did it in front of my parents. i’ve been super stressed out lately, and for months would cry myself to sleep. but, the past week i’be been fine, until three days ago. i hate not being in control, and just can’t stop crying. please help.

i would see a gynecologist and get my hormones checked. i had to put my daughter on birth control in eigth grade because she was just so emotional she was getting depressed. it all turned completely around with the meds. ou chemistry is in so much more control than we think. crying releases cortisol that is built up from stress so our body also uses it for that purpose. if that doesn’t work get cbt therapy. it will fix. i promise.

what do you feel / what's going through your mind when you feel like having to cry or during it? what's been making you stressed? maybe try to avoid stress for a little while and do things that calm you down more. sit down with yourself and let yourself think and feel and try to figure out what you're feeling and why.

you mentioned you’ve been really stressed out. crying is your body's way of coping with emotion. if you don't let yourself blow off steam every once in a while, give yourself a mental break, your body will start doing it for you. please take care of yourself ♥️ no matter what's going on in your life, be it be it schoolwork, family issues, etc. your mental health comes first. give yourself a break.
