ever since i was little, i've had issues with binge eating. however, in the past year or so, it's gotten way worse. because of it, i gained so much weight. i eat when i'm stressed, sad, anxious and depressed. and sometimes i even eat out of boredom! i feel like a failure and i really don't know what to do. i feel guilty every time i eat. and i'm sorry for my parents for being such a fat daughter. i literally am at the point where i am ready to starve myself.

i'd say try to find other things to distract yourself with when you're bored, or other things you can do to make yourself feel better while stressed. don't do anything extreme like starving yourself or limiting what you eat - it'll make it harder. just, whenever you feel stressed or sad, and the urge to binge comes up, stop everything and give yourself a few minutes to think and process how you feel. then try to find another way to keep yourself busy or make yourself feel better. maybe blast some music. watch a show you like. talk to a friend. maybe just type down your feelings to yourself somewhere. sorry if these are a little silly examples but you'd know best what works for you.

please stop punishing yourself. you are not a failure! you are struggling with things now & are not sure how to get yourself moving in the right direction. i am not sure what comments you are hearing from your folks but i am guessing that they really want you to be happy & healthy. please get involved in something that you are interested in. it can be a club at school, community or church. journaling can be helpful to keep track of what you eat & how you are feeling. it really sounds like you have to sort out lots of things. it can be done. if you are in school please reach out to your school counselor.

the only way is to take up a proper diet and follow it strictly by controlling the urges. there's no way out other than a proper dieting and good exercise

yep that quiet wooden porcupine , is right. exercise is also helpful to create more health-conscious habits. it is so underrated, exercise will make you happier when you do it on he regular, a regular dose of endorphins will help you feel less stressed and proud that you chose a better way of taking care of your health. try badminton , its fun , easy , happy social benefits too. ask for your parents help to eat healthier , then they can also be our support and provide healthier meals and food in the house. you need moral support and people to do healthy things together with to not feel lonely
